Brooklyn Seafood, Steak, & Oyster House
(Restaurants - Steakhouse)
1212 2nd Ave
Seattle WA 98101
206-224-7000
Description:
DOWNTOWN. This classic Seattle steakhouse is a grand destination for diners looking to impress important clients. The saloon-meets-supper club decor features a copper counter with swivel stools and elegant tables dressed in white linens. While cooked-to order steaks, ribs, and chops are well prepared, fish and seafood really earn Brooklyn its many years of high praise oysters, in particular, are a must-try. Dinner reservations are suggested.

Buenos Aires Grill
(Restaurants - Steakhouse)
2028 Virginia St
Seattle WA 98101
206-441-7076
Description:
DOWNTOWN. Take a trip down to Buenos Aires at this Argentinean-style steakhouse, where the atmosphere springs to life with the seductive sounds of the tango, the aroma of wood-grilled beef, and authentically rustic decor that is more Plaza de Mayo than Pioneer Square. For a traditional experience, regulars laud the parrillada (a Argentinean mixed-grill of beef, chicken, and sausage); less adventuresome palates, however, will be relieved to find center-cut filet mignons and classic rib-eyes on the menu as well. Reservations recommended ask for a table in the front room.

DC's Grill on the Plateau
(Restaurants - Steakhouse)
22850 NE 8th St
Sammamish WA 98074
425-898-1231
Description:
SAMMAMISH. This cousin of Seattle's Metropolitan Grill provides the same great food but with a more relaxed ambiance. Wood accents and historical photographs of the region set the scene. Creamy crab and shrimp dip with warm crostini makes a wonderful appetizer. Steaks, then, include a sirloin, rib-eye, and tender filet mignon, all served with a choice of potato and market vegetables. If you're looking for something lighter, try the char-grilled sirloin steak sandwich with provolone, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. Plenty of seafood and pasta selections are also offered.

Daniel's Broiler
(Restaurants - Steakhouse)
200 Lake Washington Blvd
Seattle WA 98122

LESCHI PARK. This classic steak house, with its elegant, clubby ambience, features copper accents, stone-topped tables, comfortable booths, and dark wood detailing. A favorite place for bar-socializing, Daniel's also boasts perfectly-prepared broiled steaks and an especially good prime rib. Other possibilities are the New York strip, the rib-eye, and the 22-ounce porterhouse. Side dishes come separately but are quite substantial and ideal for sharing. The martinis have won a strong following, and you can choose from a long list of fine wines to accompany the meal too. The staff is thorough and attentive.
